His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America welcomed the newly ordained Rev. Deacon Kyriakos Ioannou and his wife Georgia at the Archdiocesan headquarters on Tuesday, September 26.  Deacon Kyriakos was ordained on Sunday, September 24 at Saint Basil Academy in Garrison, New York by His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos.  Dn. Kyriakos received the blessing of the Archbishop as he begins his ministry as a permanent deacon, serving the needs of the Archdiocesan District.
