NEW YORK – Orders are now being taken for the 2020 Parish Ecclesiastical Calendars, an annual resource published by the Department of Communications of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. The Calendar features full-color icons, the names of Saints in Greek and English, a fasting guide, and daily Scripture readings and commemorations following the liturgical protocol of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. In addition, thumbnail icons on major feast and saint days, fasting symbols, resources found on the Archdiocese website, and an Internet Guide for Orthodox Christians are also included.

Calendar orders must be placed online at www.goarchprinting.org. The online ordering system will speed up the ordering process and provide timely delivery of calendars. The web site provides the opportunity to customize the parish and sponsor backer information, view a proof and submit payment. Each parish received a reminder letter containing username and password by mail.

Also, parishes must order the complimentary Pocket Calendars through www.goarchprinting.org. Place only the pocket calendar order or both the pocket calendar and Ecclesiastical calendar order at the same time.

Each full-color calendar is a 12-month wall calendar with a “backer” that can be customized with the name, logo, and contact information of the parish, as well as the name, logo, and contact information of a calendar sponsor. The extension is scored and folded by the printer so that the calendar can be mailed in standard 9 x 12 mailing envelopes.

The firm order deadline is October 7. After this date, only calendars with blank backer flaps will be available from the Department of Communications depending on availability of stock. To customize your calendar with parish and sponsor information orders must be received online by October 7.

For any additional information needs or questions about the ordering process please contact the Department of Communications via email at [email protected] or by phone at 212-774-0244.
