Professor Karl Donfried explains, in this video, that Apostle Paul was for St. John Chrysostom, what Christ was for St. Paul or better what Christ was for St. Paul, He also was for St. John Chrysostom. Professor Karl goes into depth about the spiritual friendship that the Apostle Paul had with St. John Chrysostom, despite living centuries apart they were alive together in Christ. Professor Karl relates how St. John wrote commentaries on Apostle Paul’s Epistles and then goes further into the subject of Glory to Glory (2 Corinthians 3:18) as expressed by Apostle Paul. Professor Karl Donfried gave this talk, The Life in Christ: in St. Paul: From Glory to Glory, at the Pauline Symposium on October 9-17, 2008.
