In June 2019, Halki Summit III was held in Constantinople (Istanbul), hosted by the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The topic of the summit was Theological Formation and Ecological Awareness: A Conversation on Education and the Environment. The summit brought together theological educators and environmental thinkers and activists for the sustained conversation about how we might integrate ecological issues in our seminaries, schools and parish religious education programs. This issue of PRAXIS includes a few of presentations from the summit for your study.

PRAXIS magazine is a publication of the Department of Religious Education. It is published three times a year: fall, winter, and spring. The magazine addresses topics within religious education, spiritual formation, cultural criticism, and practical applications of our faith. For every issue, we select a cover theme and present several feature articles on that theme. Each issue also includes articles within our recurring sections: "Ministry in Practice," "Family Connection," and "Parent to Parent."
Many of our back issues are available for online viewing. To learn more about PRAXIS and how to become a subscriber, please contact the Department of Religious Education.
