Fr. Andrew Demotses one afternoon was quietly reading from Scripture, he found himself at the 19th Chapter of the Gospel of St. Luke. There he read a Parable of Jesus that told of a noble man who was taking a journey into a far country. Before leaving [his own country], the man called his most trusted servants and gave them each a coin worth about three months salary. He said to them, "Do business till I come [back]" (Luke 19:11-27).
