His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America, who is en route by car from Boston to New York City as of this writing, directs that all Greek Orthodox churches throughout the country be opened during this day of crisis, and that the clergy be present to lead the faithful in prayer for divine protection against “the sword and enemy invasion,” as well as for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in these horrible events, and to offer consolation to those in need.
