The Orthodox Christian Studies Center (OCSC) of Fordham University, in collaboration with the Department of Religious Education (DRE) of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, and with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros, is pleased to announce the BONUS EDITION of the Speaker Series: Orthodox Scholars Preach. Almost every week until Pentecost, a different Orthodox Scholar will release a new 10-minute video. This Series provides a platform for Orthodox scholars to reflect on the spiritual themes of each Sunday's liturgical calendar while drawing on their expertise.

This BONUS EDITION Speaker Series kicks off with His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos, PhD, who preaches on Thomas Sunday and why this Apostle’s doubt in his faith was in fact good for all of humankind. His Grace is an Auxiliary Bishop to His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. He currently serves as Chief Secretary to the Holy Eparchial Synod of America, Director of the Department of Religious Education for the Archdiocese, and offers his spiritual and liturgical ministry to Hellenic College Holy Cross. His Grace previously served as Dean of the Patriarchal Theological Orthodox Academy in Toronto, Canada, and holds a PhD in Theology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
