Romanos o Melodos Chanters’ Society of New York to Offer Free Lessons in Byzantine Music and Traditional Instruments

This fall, the Romanos o Melodos Chanters’ Society of New York is offering free lessons in Byzantine music and traditional instruments. Classes will resume in September 2024, meeting every Monday from 6:30-8:30pm at the Transfiguration of Christ Greek Orthodox Church (located at 3805 98 Street, Corona, NY 11368). Free parking is available on the premises and the church is easily accessible via public transportation. Lessons are open to all to parishes of the Direct Archdiocesan District.
