2016 Stewardship Campaign: Those That Seek the Lord Shall Never Be in Want of Any Good Thing

Jesus Is concerned about the 5,000 men plus women and children that are with him in the wilderness. His disciples tell him that all they have are five loaves and two small fish that a boy has offered. Jesus’ response is the phrase, “Bring them to me.” Jesus then takes the loaves, blesses and breaks them, and feeds 5,000 men plus women and children.

2015 Stewardship Campaign: From God, Every Family in Heaven and on Earth is Named

When we speak of stewardship and family we must also consider stewardship of family. Most often, we stress the importance of stewardship of the great gifts of God’s material world, but which of God’s gifts is greater than family?

2014 Stewardship Campaign: The Gifts of the Magi & the Spirit of Giving

The Gifts of the Magi icon presents the Wise Men offering gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the Christ Child. These wealthy scholars and priests of the East endured numerous dangers, and traveled a great distance to offer their treasures to Christ, the newborn king. What a beautiful and meaningful example they set for all future generations, helping us to understand the blessing of giving.

2013 Stewardship Campaign: Chose and Appointed by God to Go and Bear Fruit

Our theme for 2013 is Chosen and Appointed by God to Go and Bear Fruit from chapter 15 of the Gospel of John.  At the Last Supper, as we read in Chapter 15 of the Gospel of John, Jesus instructed His disciples, "I Am the Vine; you are the branches." He was telling us that the purpose of our abiding in Him is that we may bear fruit for God in the world.  "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit..."  Just as the vine bears fruit only through its branches, so Jesus has chosen to work in the world through us. We are the members of His Body. We are the branches through which the True Vine must bear fruit.  We bear fruit when we serve and support God and His Church.

2012 Stewardship Campaign: Abide in Me

Our theme for 2012 is Abide in Me from chapter 15 of the Gospel of John. We are the branches through which the True Vine must bear fruit.  We bear fruit when we serve and support God and His Church.

2011 Stewardship Campaign: Come and See

For 2011 we continue the theme of Come and See, and explore the idea of membership in the Church, the Body of Christ. To be a member of the Church is not the same as being a member of a club or civic group. The Church is the “Body of Christ” (1 Corinthians 12). Therefore, to be a member of the Church is to be a part of the living body of Christ. We invite all to Come and See what the Church can become with their active participation.

2007 Stewardship Campaign: The Miracle of the Loaves and the Fish

The miracle of the multiplication of loaves is the only miracle of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that is included in all four gospels.  It carries two important messages.  First, no matter how little each of us may think we have, we always have enough to share. Second, Christ has the ability to take whatever we have, transform these humble gifts, and gift them back to us in abundance…if only we put our trust in Him.
