It is with every hope in the Lord’s resurrection that the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America shares the sorrowful news of the passing of Eva Kafetzis, long-time receptionist of the Archdiocesan headquarters. His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America remarked: “For almost 25 years, visitors to our Archdiocesan headquarters were welcomed by our dear Eva. Her faith, her love, and her dedication to the Church and our Archdiocese were evident by her joyful greeting to all who entered our offices.” Eva leaves behind her beloved husband Manoli; children Panagiotis, Maria and Efiyenia; granddaughters Eva, Despina and Emmanuella; and many relatives and friends. May her memory be eternal!
