Christmas Items Available from Orthodox Marketplace

The Department of Religious Education has a variety of educational and gift items for the Christmas season for all ages. Browse the collection on Orthodox Marketplace but order early as we are still experiencing some slower delivery times.

The Department carries Christmas ornaments and new gift options including a line of olive wood icons from Bethlehem (see photo). The elegant and unique icons are printed on wood and make wonderful gifts for Sunday school teachers, hostesses and godchildren.

Educational items  include For To Us A Child is Born, a zine that walks the reader through the Christmas season, Celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas, a great resource that includes hymns, stories and activities for the entire family to do together, and a large selection of beautifully written and illustrated childrens’ books.

Parishes open for the Feast may want to offer the Stewardship, Outreach and Evangelism Department's excellent pamphlet “The Nativity: God Becomes Human to Show Us the Way”, describing the Christmas holiday from a theological and spiritual perspective.

In addition to placing an order online, you can reach Orthodox Marketplace at 646-519-6300, between 9 and 5 EST to place an order.
