Coming Soon from Metropolis of San Francisco: Young Adult Lenten Retreat 

Join Orthodox Young Adults from across the West Coast for a Lenten Retreat at St. Nicholas Ranch & Retreat Center from Friday, April 1 through Sunday, April 3, 2022. Young Adults from all Orthodox traditions are welcome to attend! 

The theme for this retreat is “Rejoice Mother of the Light,” and the guest speaker will be Rev. Father Seraphim Ramos, Assistant Priest at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Las Vegas, NV.  

Retreat participants will spend time having discussions and fellowship at St. Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center, as well as visit and help the Sisters of the Monastery of the Theotokos the Life-Giving Spring with a work project. 

COST: 
$190 for Double Occupancy Lodge Room (hotel style room with two queen beds) 
$260 for Single Occupancy Lodge Room (hotel style room)

GUEST SPEAKER 

Father Seraphim Ramos is a graduate of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. He is currently the Assistant Priest at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Las Vegas.  

As a native of the Pacific Northwest, Father Seraphim embraced the Holy Orthodox Faith in 2008 at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church (OCA) in Tacoma, WA. He converted from Protestantism together with his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. His father, Father Joseph Ramos is now also an Orthodox Christian Priest in the Orthodox Church of America.  

Father Seraphim and Presvytera Olenka have three children, Ivanna, Nikolai, and Makrina. He enjoys hiking, board games, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
