Metropolis of New Jersey Vicars, Clergy Receive Archpastoral Blessing

On September 23, 2022, two new Vicars of the Metropolis of New Jersey visited the Archdiocese for an Archpastoral blessing upon their new assignments:

Archimandrite Nektarios Cottros, Vicar of New Jersey, serves as the Proistamenos of St. George Church in Piscataway; and Protopresbyter George Liacopoulos, Vicar of Delaware Valley and Greater Philadelphia, serves as the Proistamenos at Holy Trinity Church in Egg Harbor, NJ.

The new Youth Director for the Metropolis, Deacon Konstantinos Loukas, who was ordained last weekend by Bishop Apostolos of Medeia, received a blessing, as well.

The Archbishop also received the Very Rev. Archimandrite Philotheos Tomczewski, who, supported in part by Leadership 100, will be spending a year in Thessaloniki studying the Greek language, beginning next month.

The Metropolis of New Jersey Chancellor, the Very Rev. Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne Christoforos Oikonomidis, was also present for the meeting.
