Metropolis of Atlanta Deacon's Retreat

The Metropolis of Atlanta;s first-ever Deacons Retreat is scheduled for September 28th-30th, 2021 at the Diakonia Retreat Center. This Retreat is meant for both Deacons and their Proistamenoi to come together, so that each may gain the most beneficial knowledge concerning the valuable service of the Diaconate to the sacramental life of the Church. 

The timeframe of the Retreat will be identical to the structure of our June Clergy Retreat, with Deacons and their Proistamenoi arriving at the D.R.C. on mid-afternoon Tuesday, and departing after lunch on Thursday.

We hope that this Retreat will prove a valuable continuing education opportunity for our coworkers in the Holy Diaconate, as they seek to assist in the work of the Lord's Vineyard.
