Maliotis Cultural Center was honored to welcome Dr. Chrysostomos Stamoulis

Maliotis Cultural Center was honored to welcome Dr. Chrysostomos Stamoulis this past Thursday night, December 1, to present “Poetics of Theology: Theology and Art in Dialogue.” This presentation included his analysis, his poetry, and some of his music to which his poetry was added. 

The presentation was made possible with a collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr. Chrysostomos is both a music composer and the Dean of the Theological School at the University of Thessaloniki. He is an extensively published Theologian, and he is highly respected in the Orthodox world. 

It was an incredible evening witnessing the worlds of Theology and Art intertwine. The Q&A with guests at the end of the presentation reflected the impact of Dr. Stamoulis’ analysis and how it resonated with the audience.

We are most grateful for Dr. Stamoulis and the incredible evening he provided for us all. We wish him all the best as he continues to profoundly influence so many lives through his teaching and his music.
