Ionian Village Accepting Staff Applications for Summer 2023

Ionian Village, the official international summer camping ministry of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, is accepting staff applications for summer 2023. Applications are open from December 17, 2022 through January 17, 2023 online at www.ionianvillage.org. Ionian Village staff members have a unique opportunity to be a spiritual and physical guide for teenage Orthodox campers as they travel to visit significant religious and cultural sites around Greece. 

Staff members must be Orthodox Christians who are at least 21 years old by June 10, 2023 and be able to fully commit from approximately June 10 - August 12, 2023. Staff responsibilities include direct supervision of a cabin of 12-18 campers with one or two other staff members, including all aspects of the campers’ day, both at camp and during excursions. Staff members also plan and execute daily activities and evening events.
