2024 Clergy-Laity Ministry Panelists

The 2024 Clergy-Laity Congress will offer "Ministry Panels," featuring an exciting lineup of speakers who will discuss topics of importance to the clergy and laity of our Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in America. 

The first ministry panel "Educating our Faithful to Reclaim the Great Commission" features Fr. James Kordaris, Dr. Paraskeve Tibbs, Fr. Luke Veronis, and Evan Armatas.

Gayle Woloschak, Ph.D. and Yannis Papakonstantinou, Ph.D. are speaking on "Artificial Intelligence, Personhood, and Theosis."

"Women in Orthodoxy: Past, Present, and Future Roles" features Rev. Dr. John Chryssavgis, Dr. Helen Creticos Theodoropoulos, Archon Cary Limberakis DMD, Kyra Limberakis, and Sara Tsugranis.

"Engaging the Youth in the Body of Christ" is being presented by Eva Konstantakos Steve Pappas Ann Bezzerides Diakonissa Anna Stefanovic.

"Orthodoxy in America: The Role of the Assembly of Bishops" features members of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the USA. 

"Fully Human: Toward Full Participation of People with Disabilities in the Orthodox Church" features Pres. Melanie DiStefano, Rev. Dr. John Chryssavgis, Justin Heard, and Summer Kinard.

Steve Tibbs, Nicholas Chakos, and Steve Pappas will present "Developing Effective and Christ-Centered Parish Leadership Across Ministry Leaders, Parish Council, and Clergy."

Finally, "Youth and Young Adults in the Church" will be presented by members of the YAL conference as joint Clergy-Laity Congress participants.
