Archbishop Elpidophoros Continues Pastoral Visit to Utah

On Sunday, July 25 after the Archierarchical Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Salt Lake City, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America bestowed upon the V. Rev. Archimandrite George Nikas the Pectoral Cross of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

On the previous day, July 24, His Eminence met with over 100 members of the Ladies Philoptochos Society of the Greek Orthodox Community of Greater Salt Lake.

Also on July 24, in the afternoon, he Archbishop  met with members of the GOYA and YAL of the Greek Orthodox Community of Greater Salt Lake where he had the opportunity to engage in discussion with the youth during an “Ask the Archbishop” session. The youth of the parish surprised His Eminence with a tree for him to plant with them on the property of their church to mark this, his first visit to their parish.
