On Monday, June 12, 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America welcomed to the Archdiocese Headquarters Rev. Deacon Spyridon Green to offer his blessings upon his recent incardination in the Albanian Orthodox Diocese of America, Eparchy of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and his assignment at Holy Trinity Albanian Orthodox Church, in South Boston MA. Rev. Green was joined by his family.

Since the repose in the Lord of Metropolitan Ilia of Philomelion, in October 2022, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros is responsible for this Albanian Eparchy of the Mother Church of Constantinople.

V. Rev. Archimandrite Nektarios Papazafiropoulos, GOA Chancellor and Rev. Protopresbyter Dr. Nicolas Kazarian, Director of the Department of Inter-Orthodox, Ecumenical & Interfaith Relations, were also present at the meeting.
