Archbishop Elpidophoros Departs for New York

After a pastoral visit to the Metropolis of San Francisco, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros departs from Los Angeles today, March 31, 2022, for New York. Originally scheduled to visit Sacramento, the Archbishop felt unwell on the third day of the trip and remained in Los Angeles, where he was treated for a minor infection at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. He was released the same evening and prescribed antiobiotics and rest by his medical team, led by Dr. Areti Tillou.
