The Office of Greek Education Announces the 3rd Annual Educational Conference

On behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America and the Conference Organizing Committee, we would like to invite you to our upcoming virtual conference on Saturday, November 11th, 11:30am- 4:30pm (EST).

This is the second year we designed this conference for online delivery and we anticipate another year of great success and increased participation from all corners of the globe.
The conference theme and title for this year is: "The Role and Importance of the Hellenic Paideia in Today's World". The conference program addresses three main educational categories:

Teaching Workshops - Conference sessions geared towards Greek language educators offering teaching and learning methods, curriculum resources, and classroom strategies and demonstrations

Academic Presentations - Lectures of theoretical and pedagogical nature associated with Hellenic Paideia and the Greek Language

Current Issues – Conference sessions examining the role and value of Hellenic Paideia; some topics address social, economic, ecclesiastical, and ecological matters and the efforts to create a sustainable world.
