2023 LITURGICAL GUIDEBOOK NOW AVAILABLE ON ORTHODOX MARKETPLACE
The Liturgical Guidebook published by the National Forum of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians identifies the hymns sung, noting changes, in the Divine Liturgy on Sunday and other feasts for the ecclesiastical year.
The 2023 edition has been expanded to include all festal antiphonal verses for the year in addition to regular Sunday antiphons. It also includes a bibliography of liturgical music, recordings, and other music resources. This resource is useful for chanters, choirs, and parish offices.
As in past years, the Guidebook provides:
- QR codes and links to other liturgical resources found on the National Forum’s website, such as guides to special services and hierarchical liturgies, news events, awards, publications, and position papers
- Charts for all four of the Saturday of the Souls services
- An additional chart outlining the service changes for a hierarchical Liturgy
- The ordinary antiphon verses
- A suggested pronunciation guide
- Information about the modes of the hymns
