Consistent with previously announced expectations of the Audit Committee of the Archdiocese and in accordance with leading governance practices for not-for-profit organizations, the Audit Committee has conducted a thorough and extensive search for new independent auditors. The firm of BDO LLP has been selected to conduct the audits of the Archdiocese’s financial statements for the years ended December 31, 2017 and 2018. The Audit Committee expects to receive the audit reports from BDO LLP in the coming months and will issue its report on the results of those audits.
