2014 Archdiocesan Yearbook Now Available Online

NEW YORK – The 2014 Yearbook of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is now available online at www.goarch.org/archdiocese/yearbook.    2014 Yearbooks will be available by mail by mid-January.  Every parish will receive two complimentary copies. An ebook edition will also be release in January which will offer the directory resources of the Yearbook in a searchable, easy-to-use digital and portable format.

The 2014 Yearbook is designed as an easy-to-read, accurate, reference handbook of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.  The 284-page, new edition includes updated directories of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Archdiocesan departments and institutions, Metropolises, parishes, clergy, religious and secular media resources plus additional information.  New to this edition is a page for the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox National Shrine at Ground Zero, as well as a separate section for the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in North and Central America and its agencies.

The significance of this resource is highlighted in the introductory letter by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America, where he states: “We can give glory to God for all that is being accomplished as shown in the 2014 Yearbook.  Through this resource and many others, we are able to see the tremendous service that is being offered.  We are encouraged to join together in prayer and worship and in affirming our calling to share the Gospel so that others may receive Christ and salvation through Him.”
