2005 Parish Calendars Offered by Archdiocese

New York, NY - Orders are now being taken for the 2005 Parish Ecclesiastical Calendars, an annual resource of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America that is prepared and distributed by the Department of Communications and the Department of Internet Ministries. As with the 2004 calendar, this edition will offer in print, resources that are found on the Archdiocese web site, including the Sunday and daily readings and commemorations following the order of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

The 2005 Calendar features a number of improvements, including larger print and delivery by December 1, along with a minimum ordering option of 50 calendars. Another new feature is the addition of thumbnail icons on major feast and saint days. Standard features include full color icons and hymns for each month of the year, names of Saints in Greek and English, daily Scripture readings, fasting symbols, and links to Internet resources on various Saints and Feasts of the Church.

Each calendar is a full twelve-month wall calendar with a backer that can be customized with the name, logo, and contact information of the parish, as well as the name, logo, and contact information of a calendar sponsor. In addition, special calendar envelopes are available for parishes that distribute the calendars by mail.

A 20% discount is currently available for all orders with payment received by September 15, 2004. The order deadline for the 2005 Calendar is October 15.
