    The 40th Annual Folk Dance and Choral Festival for the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco is off to a record-setting start with almost 3,000 registered participants. Ninety-eight dance groups and ten dance groups are participating from 34 parishes and nine states.

    The Fund offers fellowships to graduates of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology to study Greek language, Hellenic culture and liturgical practice. These studies can take place in the United States or, preferably, in Greece or at the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

    It is with deep sorrow that the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese announces the passing of Rev. Father John Romas on Sunday January 24, 2016. Father John fell asleep in the Lord shortly after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and reposed peacefully at White Plains Hospital, N.Y.

    Continuing for the tenth consecutive year, “FAITH: An Endowment for Orthodoxy and Hellenism” will once again sponsor a series of financial aid travel grants this summer to campers participating in the Ionian Village Summer Camp program. FAITH provides full and partial scholarships to those participants who qualify.
