Divine Liturgy of the 42nd Clergy Laity Congress to be broadcast live through Archdiocese website

PHILADELPHIA – The Hierarchal Divine Liturgy of the 42nd Clergy Laity Congress, which will take place tomorrow July 6, at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint George (256 S 8th St, in Philadelphia) will be broadcast live through the Archdiocese website and can be accessed through the following link: www.clergylaity.org/live
The broadcast of the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy, which marks the unofficial start of Congress, will commence at around 8:45 a.m. (EDT).
His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America will preside at the Divine Liturgy with the Metropolitans of the Holy Eparchial Synod concelebrating.
The 42nd Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America convenes this year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, July 6- 10, 2014, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel and it will focus on the theme of this Congress “The Orthodox Christian Family: A Dwelling of Christ and a Witness of His Gospel.” Concurrently with the Clergy-Laity Congress, the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society will convene its Biennial National Convention in the same venue.
