McCarrick, His Eminence Archbishop Spyridon, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America, visited yesterday the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark.During the visit the prelates had an opportunity to discuss at length issues of mutual pastoral concerns including, the continuing national and international Orthodox/ Catholic Dialogues and the different ways that each church can work together locally for better understanding and cooperation between all Christians.Following a tour of the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, Archbishop McCarrick hosted a dinner in honor of His Eminence Archbishop Spyridon during which speeches were made and gifts exchanged.
