GOTelecom receives grant from the Gregory Demakos Foundation

This video, to be produced this summer in cooperation with the Department of Internet Ministries, will introduce the viewer to the Internet and specifically guide them through the Archdiocese Web Site (http://www.goarch.org) and its links. Additionally, this grant provides for duplication and dissemination of this tape, free of charge, to all Greek Orthodox parishes in America. Mr. Peter Demakos, trustee of the Gregory Demakos Foundation, in announcing the grant said that he and is confident that this videotape will help to continue the good works of his late father, Gregory, in showcasing the ministries of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese. Gregory Demakos was a member of the Archdiocesan Council where he served as Chairman of the Education Committee. He was also a member of Leadership 100 and an Archon of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle. GOTelecom, the television ministry of the Archdiocese, has produced over 150 videotapes, highlighting the Greek Orthodox faith. For a free catalogue or for more information, please contact Marissa P.
