Archbishop Spyridon Leads Synodal Delegation To Phanar

NEW YORK - His Eminence Archbishop Spyridon, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America will lead the Most Reverend Members of the Holy Eparchial Synod of the Archdiocese on an official visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople at the Phanar. The Members of the Eparchial Synod will hold a series of meetings with His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. The Hierarchs are scheduled to depart around January 10, 1998 and to return to the United States by January 14th.
