Daily Readings Listserver Launched by Department of Internet Ministries

New York, NY - The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America Department of Internet Ministries announces the launch of a new email service called Daily Readings, which will automatically disseminate the prescribed daily Bible readings and lives of the saints commemorated each day. This new initiative by the Department of Internet Ministries is in direct response to His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios' challenge for all Orthodox Christians "to read the Holy Scriptures regularly."
The DailyReadings listserver is a new feature of the Archdiocesan web site's Online Chapel. Online Chapel provides resources for personal prayer and reflection. Updated every three hours, Online Chapel displays the daily scripture readings, a searchable database of saints and feasts, a weekly audio meditation, live and pre-recorded liturgical services, and a searchable ecclesiastical calendar.
