What is Live Broadcasting?

Live broadcasting allows parishes to stream their Liturgical services online for those who are unable to attend in person. This service has been offered by the Department of Internet Ministries since 1997.

What Technologies are AVailable?

We are able to host Adobe Flash with simultaneous broadcasts to mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android phones and tablets for your parish. The streaming is hosted on one of the most robust and reliable streaming media network backbones in the United States.

What are the Costs?

The discounted fees that the Archdiocese has worked out is as follows:

1) $250 setup fee and
2) $1000 / year for unlimited broadcasts up to 50 GB of data transfer.

If your parish surpasses 50 GB of data transfer, the cost is then $2 for every additional GB of live streaming data transferred.

Do I need an Annual Subscription or Can I Set up a One-Time Broadcast?

We can also accomodate one-time (non-recurring) broadcasts. The total cost for these types of broadcasts is $150 for a single day (24 hours), which includes setup and basic troubleshooting.
