Vendor Chosen for Parish Management Software
NEW YORK – The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America has chosen ACS Technologies' Parish Data System™ (PDS) to provide software to parishes across the US as part of a Parish Management Systems Initiative. The Archdiocese evaluation team, reviewed solutions from a total of five vendors interested in providing a solution. Parish Data System received the highest overall scores in the evaluation process and also provide the most cost effective solution. The software piloting will begin with a select number of parishes. A phased rollout of the software to the parishes across each of the Metropolises and the Archdiocesan District will begin in November 2011. This partnership with PDS will bring standardized recording and reporting to the financial, stewardship, pastoral and day-to-day operations and management of the parish.
